In chapter five, On Night Street, Lina finds out that there is a store on Night Street that was selling colored pencils. Lina loved to draw, so she decides to go to the store and bring her baby sister, Poppy. While she's deciding what colored pencils to get, Poppy somehow gets out of the store. Lina realizes that Poppy's gone,and looks every around town for her. Suddenly, the lights flickered out! Lina just stood there, worrying about her little sister, alone in the darkness. But when the lights came back on, Lina asked a woman if she'd seen Poppy. And guess who had her? Doon.
QUESTIONS: Why do you think Doon helped Poppy if he didn't like Lina? Would you be scared if you were Poppy or Lina? How do you think Lina feels about wanting colored pencils so much that she almost lost her little sister?
